COMMUNICATION

The IFN Sunday School team strongly believes in open lines of communication between staff, parents and students. A weekly newsletter from the Sunday School Principal will be emailed to all parents. Teachers are also expected to send out weekly communication to parents regarding what the students are learning in class and inform parents about upcoming assignments, homework and projects etc. Parents are encouraged to regularly check google classrooms to stay informed and involved in their child’s education. Parents are also encouraged to reach out to their child’s teacher if they have any questions or concerns.

PARENT INVOLVEMENT

IFN Sunday School encourages parents to be an integral part of their children’s Islamic education. Parent teacher conferences are held in the Spring of every school year to give parents a chance to talk to teachers and get first hand information about their child’s academic and behavior performance in Sunday School and ask questions. In addition, parents are encouraged to volunteer at Sunday School by being a substitute teacher when needed as well as help with special events.
