IFN Badminton Registration

We are happy to announce the first IFN Badminton Tournament.

Registration Deadline: August 10, 2024

Date of the event: Saturday, August 17

Time: Starts 8 AM (Watch out for the draws for exact start time of your event)

Please register. Following basic rules apply for the tournament registration.

Additional match rules will be published as we get closer to the tournament date.

1. Each registrant in any registered category is guaranteed to play at least 3 matches (1 game or more per match of 21 points each depending on the number of participants)
2. Feather birds will be used (One feather bird per match will be provided by the organizers) - If more than one bird is required, registrants/participants may use their own.
3. A minimum of 8 registrants are required in a category (may be reduced based on the registrants). If minimum threshold is not met, then we will contact the registrants to offer the available choices.
4. If you are registering for doubles event, please mention your doubles partner for each category you have elected to participate. If a partner is not chosen, partners are assigned randomly from the remaining registrants in that category - Doubles partner should register separately

This registration link is available to IFN and surrounding masjids in NW suburbs. A limit of 30 registrants for each category (May change depending on the response rate). If sufficient registrations are not received, then we will open to other masajids in the Chicago land area until the set registration limit is reached. First Come, First Serve, so please register at the earliest.

We are inviting a couple of food vendors during lunch time (yet to be confirmed), so there may be an opportunity to enjoy good food while playing and watching great games!!!

This is part of the IFN Expansion Project awareness. This and other sporting activities could be regularly played at IFN when we have the multipurpose facility ready, inshaAllah.
