CIOGC COIVID-19 TASK FORCE

The CIOGC Task Force is a collaborative effort of Member & Non-Member Organizations; Relief Organizations, Medical Professional Associations, and Social Service Groups to provide services ranging from COVID-19 screening, Non-Emergency Healthcare, Dental care, Mental Health Crisis Support, Direct food and temporary financial assistance, Unemployment Claims, and Spiritual, as well as Mental Well-being, consultations and assessments to families and individuals.

This broad array of experience and knowledge is focused on helping families and the elderly with the challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic. These professionals are donating their time to help.

United Way

MONEY IS AVAILABLE FOR A LIMITED TIME TO IFN MEMBERS IN NEED OF NO-COST MEDICATION RE-FILLS AND MEDICATION-RELATED SUPPLIES

A fund of grant money has been provided to us from the Illinois State’s Attorney’s office for those who may be struggling with the cost of medications and the supplies needed for taking medication safely.

Eligible Items include

  • No-Cost Medication Refills A current prescription or referral to obtain a prescription is required.
  • Insulin Supplies Spending limits may apply
  • Glucometer If you are diabetic and do not have one at home to measure your numbers.
  • Portable Blood Pressure Cuff if you have high blood pressure and do not have one at home to measure your numbers.
  • Other items May be considered by request

A copy of your receipt is needed for reimbursement. Receipts will be kept private and confidentially stored under HIPPA guidelines. Personal information will not be sent to the Attorney General’s office but are maintained for regulatory requirements in the event of a grant spending audit.
