Welcome To IFN
The Islamic Foundation North (IFN) masjid opened July 2, 2004! . IFN was established in 1977 in the northern suburbs of Chicago to fulfill the Muslim community’s religious, social, and cultural needs. The Foundation had a modest beginning. It started in the community center of the Naval Base in Great Lakes. As the community grew, it later moved into bigger rented facilities in Grayslake and Libertyville.
Since its inception, IFN offered a wide spectrum of services to the Muslim community of northern suburbs and southeast Wisconsin. Today, IFN is one of the most active and leading Islamic centers in the Chicagoland area, specifically Lake County.
IFN has been involved in interfaith dialogue with different religious groups including Christians and Jews to foster a better understanding between various ethnic groups.

Quran Academy
Tahfiz Qur'an Facility refers to the memorization and recitation of the Quran, which is the holy scripture of Islam.
Ask Imam
In IFN the Imam conducts multiple activities including: Khatiras, Jummua Khutba, Salah, Youth Programs, and Interfaith engagement.
IFN Clinic
IFN free health clinic is a 501c organization dedicated to providing health care to uninsured and underserved population of Lake county.

MUHSEN
Apart from Sunday School, IFN provides classes for special needs children. (Effective since Fall 2017)
Youth
IFN offers an array of Youth programs for young Muslim brothers, sisters, and professionals.
Sunday School
IFN provides weekly Sunday school during the academic calendar year. Teaching kids about faith and adab.
Reserve Banquet Hall
IFN provides a hall for it's members to host parties, dinner or bazaar. Bring your family and friends to enjoy!
