IT and Website Committee
The IT and Website committee at Islamic Foundation North (IFN) supports the organization’s digital infrastructure, online presence, and technology-driven services. This team ensures that IFN’s systems remain secure, reliable, and accessible to the community.
Core Responsibilities
Website Administration
- Maintain and update the IFN website with accurate information, announcements, and event details.
- Main Chat Bot and support.
- Ensure mobile-friendly design and accessibility for all community members.
- Manage online forms, registrations, and integrated services.
Technical Infrastructure
- Oversee network stability, Wi-Fi access, and hardware used across IFN facilities.
- Manage servers, storage, and backups to ensure data integrity.
- Support audio/visual systems for prayers, programs, and livestreams.
Security and Compliance
- Implement cybersecurity best practices to protect community data.
- Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and apply timely updates.
- Ensure compliance with privacy and data-handling standards.
Support and Troubleshooting
- Provide technical assistance to staff, volunteers, and program leads.
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Coordinate with vendors for specialized IT needs.
Digital Services
- Manage email systems, communication tools, and digital collaboration platforms.
- Support livestreaming of Jumu’ah, lectures, and special events.
- Oversee digital donation platforms and online payment systems.
Goals
- Enhance user experience on the IFN website.
- Strengthen cybersecurity and data protection.
- Improve reliability of IT systems supporting daily operations.
- Expand digital engagement opportunities for the community.
