ABOUT AIA
By the grace of God, Al-Ihsan Academy (AIA) has completed two years successfully, despite the challenges posed by COVID-19. Our goal is to provide an Islamic environment for the social, intellectual, spiritual, and physical growth of our students. We also strive to give children a firm foundation in Quran, surah memorization, and the Arabic language.
We have two full-time job openings which have also been advertised on Indeed.
1. Early Childhood Lead Teacher
A dynamic and committed teacher in a 3-6 year-old classroom, for a full-time position. We are interested in applicants that love working with children, have some experience working in an early childhood setting, and are passionate about leading a classroom with compassion and care. We value teachers who are patient, kind, playful, imaginative, and creative. Applicants should be independent, people-oriented, and dependable.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree, Early Childhood training and/or Montessori certification. Montessori certification is strongly preferred.
2. First Grade Teacher
The first-grade teacher is responsible for preparing lesson plans and educating students at all levels. Their duties will include designing assessments, documenting student progress, and communicating regularly with parents. Teachers should be able to instruct in a variety of subjects and reach students with engaging lesson plans.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree, a teaching certificate or credential, or equivalent professional experience which would translate to successful classroom teaching.

Note: All work is done by volunteers.
