BROTHER'S HALAQA

The masjid is available for brothers to congregate and discuss various topics amongst themselves, but there are also a few halaqas (study circles) that are open to the community and have been meeting on a regular basis. Details of the two (2) weekly gatherings are below:

Brother’s Tafseer

Day: Every Friday
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Lead by: Br. Farid Fahmy
Coordinator: Br. Emad Hasan
As a part of the Religious Affairs committee, Br. Farid Fahmy is a longtime, upstanding cornerstone of the IFN community and offers his time with the brothers every Friday to discuss various portions of the Quran which is then followed by a Question & Answer Session in the IFN Prayer Hall.

Quran Interactive Discussion (Brothers Only – In Urdu

Day: Every Saturday
Time: Fajr – Ishraq
Lead by: Br. Anwar Basha
Every Saturday after Fajr, brothers have been coming together for over 85 weeks and counting. It’s a consistent group who are led by Br. Anwar Basha and carry an open dialogue every week. Others are welcomed.

Note: All work is done by volunteers. Assistance is needed in several areas, such as, lawn maintenance, food service, cleaning service, building/maintenance, website maintenance, fundraising events, school activities, social activities, etc. For volunteering, please send an email message using this website or fill out the volunteer form and submit to the Office at IFN.
