Islamic Foundation North (IFN) is extremely grateful to Almighty Allah (SWT) for the religious liberty He (SWT) has bestowed upon us. We seek His (SWT) blessings for our endeavors to maintain a representative organization, which will provide an opportunity and services for the fullest religious and educational development of an individual and the Muslim community.

Participants will learn to perform CPR and use an AED for adults, children, and infants and how to relieve choking in adults, children, and infants. They will learn to manage illness and injury until professional help arrives. General principles for medical emergencies, the use of an Epi-pen for severe allergic reactions, and injury management and environmental emergencies are included.

The course is 6 hours in length and includes a DVD presentation, practical application, a written test and a skills test. Lunch will be provided through the grant. Each volunteer will receive a copy of the required textbook pictured above and an AHA wallet-sized certification card.

Training will take place in the IFN basement.
