• Online voting - From Sunday, Nov 19, 2023, to Saturday, Dec 2nd, 2023
• In-person voting on Sunday - Dec 3rd, 2023.

Election Committee Information

The Election Committee is an AD-HOC Committee under the Board of Trustees which is established a 30-40 days before any necessary elections and dissolved 10 days after announcing the results.  The committee chair is selected by the current BOT General Secretary. The members are selected by the Chair and/or under the guidance of the BOT.

The Election Committee begins by establishing the timeline of the full election process. The major activities executed by this committee include but are not limited to:

• Evaluate Nominations - Insure the candidate meet the requirements of the position as  dictated by the by-laws
• Set up and Conduct the Candidate(s) Forum
• Establish/Verify the list of eligible voters with the help of the Membership Committee
• Establish Electronic Ballots sent out 5 days in advance of the live election
• Conduct the live election/ballots
• Verify the ballots of eligibility to eliminate double votes
• Announce the Results

Eligibility for nominating and voting will be determined in accordance with IFN bylaws.

• Candidates require 10 qualified nominations and confirmation with the input from the EC General Secretary and Membership Committee.
• Nominations must be submitted via online form.
• Nominations must include the nominated individual’s email address
• To nominate: member in 2021
• To be nominated for BOT: member from 2017 through 2021 (by-laws section 4.3.1.5)
• To be nominated for EC: member from 2019 through 2021 (by-laws section 4.4.1.4)
• To vote: 2021 membership dues must have been paid by March 31st, 2021
