WELCOME BACK TO 2024 - 25 School Year

Assalamo alaikum Respected IFN Sunday School Community,

I pray you are all doing well and enjoyed a rejuvenating summer break with your family and loved ones. Alhumdullilah we had a successful 2023-24 school year. I am extremely grateful for all your support and encouragement over the past couple years when I started as Principal in Fall 2022. I attribute any success to first and foremost the mercy and blessings of Allah SWT and then to the excellent team work of our amazing staff, administrative team, students and parents.  It has been very busy and eventful two years, filled with many celebrations and triumphs and I am very proud of progress we have made Alhumdulillah with the dedication and hard work of our wonderful staff, students and parents. We look forward to continually growing together in shaa Allah with your valuable feedback, support and partnership and look forward to welcoming our students back for another great school year in sha Allah!

My Background: I am a licensed school psychologist, currently working full time at a K-8 public school district, starting my 11th year in Fall 2024 in sha Allah. I feel blessed to be part of the IFN community since 2004. Two of my children graduated from Sunday School while my youngest is still attending Sunday School. I previously taught 1st grade at Sunday School several years ago but had to stop because of family factors. Alhumduillah, I feel honored and blessed to have the opportunity of serving our community at IFN and supporting the noble cause of Sunday School to provide high quality Islamic Education to our youth in Sha Allah in close partnership with you all. I strongly believe in working together as a team to provide our children with a fun, engaging and positive Sunday School experience. Our ultimate goal is to instill in our children a love of learning their religion and implementing it in their lives, strengthen their connection with Allah SWT and develop a strong sense of muslim identity sha Allah. I welcome your feedback/ suggestions and look forward to collaborating with you as we continue upon this journey to provide the highest quality Islamic education to our youth in an Islamic learning environment with the help and guidance of Allah SWT.
